Visit with Don and Dixie

BBBBrrrrrr. Cold and the wind continues. We did go to the exercise room for a workout and then went to play three games of billiards. It was fun but we could both use a little more practice. In the evening Dad helped Gayle Bramwell with the design of her family blog then we watched a movie.

It is still quite cold but the wind has died down and it is supposed to be in the 20's again tonight. It will start warming up just in time for us to leave for our cruise tomorrow night. Maybe it will stay that way for when we return. We spent all day today on a 350-mile round trip to Quartzsite to meet with Don and Dixie who drove up to meet us from Yuma. We had a nice Mexican lunch and then drove around town to visit the antique car lot, Celia's Rainbow Gardens in the city park and tried to visit Phil Mortensen but he was not at his camp. We also stopped for a brief visit with friends of Dixie's from Barrow, Alaska that live in Quartzsite. I then did a bit of shopping for gem stones for my wire wrap jewelry project. We finally bid Don and Dixie adieu and headed back to camp for a relaxing soak and swim.
