(Editors note: Sorry, but this post was made out of order.) We gassed up, bid Dixie adieu, and headed back up the Sterling and then Seward Highways to the USFS Granite Creek Campground in preparation to drive to Girdwood early tomorrow morning to catch the Alaska Railroad train to Seward for some expected fantastic sightseeing along the way. This evening for the first time on this trip we arrived fairly early at camp, built a campfire and cooked hot dogs for dinner and then visited around the campfire with Don and Glenn until time to retire.
