A Doctor Appointment and a Continued Service Project

Mon Mar 7
It blew up a major dust storm today and my shoulder continues to be very painful so we did not do the hike with the park group today. Instead Dad spent the entire morning trying to get an appointment with a orthopedic specialist. Several appointments were made and each time an earlier one was found the prior one was cancelled. He finally got one for this Wednesday. In the afternoon we did laundry then at night I asked for a blessing and Dad asked Dick Bramwell to assist him. It did seem to help because I was able to sleep in bed instead of out on the chairs and I slept all night which helped a lot.

Results of Our Paint Job Thus Far
Dad's cousins decided to paint their house themselves with our help so we went to Queen Creek all day to help them paint. My shoulder is still very sore so I just acted as supervisor, water girl and photographer. The complete house was first washed down with trisodium phosphate and, after drying for a while painting began. By 6 PM everyone was tuckered out and the paint job was about half completed so we headed for home. If Milo and Ivan don't complete the job by next week we will plan to help finish. In the mean time I'm looking forward to seeing Doctor Alan Rothbart tomorrow afternoon in Phoenix, hoping he can diagnose my problem and offer some relief from the pain.
